Welcome to the Community Nursery School of Irondequoit Website


Founded in 1958, the Community Nursery School of Irondequoit, CNSI, is an independent organization, owned and operated by member parents. We are devoted to the early educational development of our children in a structured, nurturing, and playful environment. In a cooperative preschool like ours, the parents and guardians ARE the school. The entire success of the school depends on each and every one of us. We are self-supporting and manage all finances, equipment, and administrative duties. The school is governed by a board of directors comprised of member parents working in cooperation with the teacher, and the board of trustees. This website is maintained as a source of information for the parents and guardians of current and students and for those considering CNSI for their child's pre-school education.
