What is the policy for bathroom breaks?
Submitted by superuser on Wed, 03/25/2009 - 07:14The children are allowed to go any time that they need to as long as an adult is present with them. A form must be signed allowing the assisting parent to help out the child in the bathroom if needed.
We understand that accidents happen so we do ask that all children keep a change of clothes at school (including socks) just in case whether it's a bathroom accident, snack spill, or just getting too messy with an activity.
What Snack and Drinks are suggested?

Goldfish, pretzels, dry cereal, trail mix, and graham crackers work well. As for the drink juice and water always go over well with the children.

Submitted by superuser on Wed, 03/25/2009 - 07:07Please discourage your child from bringing toys to school. We do however know that sometimes that is an impossible task. The toys will be allowed to be brought to school but have to be kept in the child’s cubby.
Do you have to assist?
Submitted by superuser on Wed, 03/25/2009 - 07:06No. You have the option to be a non-assisting parent at an increased cost of the child's attendance. Since we are a parent run organization assisting helps to keep the overall school costs down through the "donation" of your time. Keep in mind that you can have parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles to help you with assisting. Each person who will be assisting will need a TB test done within the past two years in order to assist.
